To upgrade the firmware for the eufy T8300 SpaceView Baby Monitor, please follow the steps below:
1. Download the latest firmware: Visit the eufy website and find the latest available firmware version for the SpaceView(T8300) model. The firmware can be found at the following link: [link provided in the manual].
2. Unzip the folder: After downloading the firmware, unzip the folder. Inside the folder, you will find two files named Camera_VXXX.bin and Monitor_VXXX.bin. Please note that the file names may vary depending on the product and version.
3. Upgrade the monitor: Connect the monitor to your computer using the data cable. If you don't have a data transfer cable, please contact eufy customer support. Once connected, a hard drive named "SN93701PU" will be displayed on your computer's desktop. Copy (do not open) the downloaded file named Monitor.bin and transfer it to the "SN93701PU" hard drive. The transfer process usually takes about 5-6 minutes. It is important to keep the monitor screen on during the entire connection process to ensure a successful pairing with your computer. If the monitor screen turns off, the connection will be broken.
4. Monitor Upgrade verification: After transferring the Monitor.bin file, you can verify that your monitor has been upgraded to the latest version. On the monitor menu, go to "..." and then select "Connect with Us." Check that the monitor's version number matches the version you downloaded.
5. Upgrade the camera: Connect the camera to your computer using the data cable. A hard drive named "SN93700BU" will appear on your computer's desktop. Open the "SN93700BU" hard drive and transfer the downloaded file named Camera.bin to it. The transmission process usually takes about 20-30 seconds. Once the file transfer is completed, the camera will automatically restart, indicating a successful transfer of the Camera.bin file.
6. Camera Upgrade verification: To verify that your camera has been upgraded to the latest version, go to "..." on the monitor menu and select "Connect with Us." Ensure that the camera's version number matches the version you downloaded.
