To adjust the tension of the gas spring on the Huanuo HNSS8 Monitor Desk Mount, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the monitor has been attached to the mount.
2. Read the monitor box or manual to determine the net weight of the monitor (including accessories). The net weight should be between 4.4~19.8 lbs (2-9 kg).
3. Use a 13/64 in. (5mm) Allen key (not included) to adjust the tension.
- Turn the Allen key clockwise ("-") to reduce tension (carry less weight).
- Turn the Allen key counter-clockwise ("+") to increase tension (carry more weight).
Note: It is important to keep the arm in a horizontal position during adjustment to avoid damaging the mount. If the monitor can stay at the desired height by itself, no adjustment is needed. If the monitor rises up, press the arm to keep it in a horizontal position and turn the Allen key clockwise ("-") to reduce tension. If the monitor falls down, lift the arm to keep it in a horizontal position and turn the Allen key counter-clockwise ("+") to increase tension.
