To clean the Exergen 2000C Temporal Scanner, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the probe lens and cone are clean. If they are not, use a small cloth or swab moistened with alcohol to wipe them clean. Let them dry before using the thermometer.
2. Hold the thermometer upside-down to prevent excess moisture from entering the sensor area. While the sensor is not harmed by moisture, excessive wetness may prevent you from taking a temperature reading until it dries.
3. You can clean the thermometer case with any hospital-approved disinfectant, alcohol, or bleach solutions. Avoid using gritty or abrasive cleaners that may scratch the thermometer.
4. Do not hold the TemporalScanner under the faucet or submerge it in water, as it is not waterproof.
By following these cleaning instructions, you can ensure that the Exergen 2000C Temporal Scanner remains in good working condition and provides accurate temperature measurements.
