To set up the ARRIS SURFboard SBG7400AC2 Docsis 3.0 Consumer Series Wireless Cable Modem, follow these steps:
1. Connect the coaxial cable from your cable provider to the "Cable In" port on the back of the modem.
2. Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on your modem and the other end to your computer or router.
3. Plug the power adapter into the modem and connect it to a power outlet.
4. Wait for the modem to power on and establish a connection with your cable provider. This may take a few minutes.
5. Once the modem is connected, you can connect to its Wi-Fi network using the default network name (SSID) and password provided on the modem's label.
