To reset and log in to your NETGEAR C7000 Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi Cable Modem Router, follow these steps:
1. Resetting the Router:
- Locate the Reset button on the back of the router.
- Using a paperclip or a similar object, press and hold the Reset button for about 7 seconds until the Power LED blinks.
- Release the Reset button and wait for the router to reboot. This process may take a few minutes.
2. Logging in to the Router:
- Connect your computer or mobile device to the router using an Ethernet cable or via WiFi.
- Open a web browser and enter "www.routerlogin.net" or "192.168.1.1" in the address bar. Press Enter.
- You will be prompted to enter the default username and password. The default username is "admin," and the default password is "password." Enter these credentials and click on the Login button.
- If you have changed the default login credentials, enter the updated username and password.
- You will now be logged in to the router's web interface, where you can configure and troubleshoot various settings.
