The remote and receiver for the FunniPets 882 2600ft Range Dog Shock Training Collar should be charged for more than 5 hours when charging for the first time. After the initial charge, subsequent charges may take less time. When the remote is charging, the battery icon on the screen will flash, and it will stop flashing when fully charged. When the collar is charging, the green LED light on the collar will flash, and it will stay on (but stop flashing) when fully charged. It is important to ensure that both the remote and receiver are fully charged before using the training collar.
