To set the time and date on the SMARTRO SC31B Digital Projection Alarm Clock, please follow these steps:

1. Open the battery compartment on the clock and insert two new 1.5V AAA batteries. Make sure the battery polarities (+ and -) are correct. Close the battery compartment.

2. Connect the clock to the DC power adapter.

3. Press and hold the "MODE" button until the year display starts to flash. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the year. Press the "MODE" button to confirm the setting.

4. The month display will start to flash. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the month. Press the "MODE" button to confirm the setting.
