To adjust the toast shade on the Hamilton Beach 22671 2-Slice Stainless Toaster, you need to use the shade selector dial. The shade selector dial is located on the front of the toaster, and it allows you to choose the desired level of toast darkness. Simply turn the dial to the desired shade setting before pressing down the bread lifter to start the toasting process. The higher the shade setting, the darker the toast will be.
