To use the Remington S7801AU Illusion Straightener, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your hair is clean, dry, and tangle-free before styling.
2. Plug the straightener into a power outlet. The lock symbol (L) will indicate that it is in standby mode.
3. Press and hold the on/off button ( ) to switch on the straightener.
4. Start styling with lower temperatures first. Use the temperature controls on the side of the product to select the appropriate temperature for your hair type. The "+" button increases the temperature, and the "-" button decreases it.
5. The digital display will stop flashing when the straightener is ready to use.
6. Work on one section of hair at a time, running the straightener through the entire length without stopping.
7. After use, press and hold the on/off button ( ) for two seconds to turn off the straightener, and then unplug it from the power outlet.
It is important to establish the correct temperature for your hair type to prevent over-drying or damage. Start with a low-temperature setting and gradually increase it if needed. Refer to the recommended temperature ranges in the manual for guidance.
Please note that the straightener should not be used on wet hair, heavily treated/bleached hair, synthetic wigs, or hair extensions. Always let the straightener cool down before storing it in the provided silicone sleeve.
