To install the Lucci air 216104 Climate IV DC Ceiling Fan, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the necessary tools: Phillips/flat head screwdriver, pliers, adjustable spanner, step ladder, wire cutter, and wiring supply cable.
2. Install the mounting bracket: Ensure that the blades are spaced 300mm from the nearest objects or walls. Use the provided screws to attach the hanging bracket to a ceiling joist or structure capable of supporting a weight of 18 kg. Make sure at least 30mm of the xxxx is threaded into the support.
3. Hang the fan: Lift the fan assembly onto the mounting bracket, ensuring that the registration slot of the hanger ball is positioned on the stopper of the mounting bracket to prevent rotation during operation.
4. Install the blades: Remove the motor blade screws from the bottom of the fan motor assembly. Insert the blades into the slots of the rotating member of the fan motor assembly and secure them with the provided blade screws. Make sure to tighten the screws evenly.
5. Install the light kit (if applicable): Loosen the xxxx on the fan bracket and align the two slot screws with the keyhole slots of the light kit plate. Turn the light kit plate counterclockwise until the slot screws are firmly at the end of the slots. Secure the xxxx to the light kit plate.
6. Connect the electrical wiring: Follow the wiring diagram provided in the manual to connect the live supply wire, neutral supply wire, and earth wire to the terminal block on the mounting bracket. Connect the supply wiring from the mounting bracket to the input of the DC motor receiver. Connect the output wires of the DC motor receiver to the input wires of the fan motor and the light kit. Ensure the motor earth wire is connected to the single earthing terminal block.
7. Install the canopy: Slide the canopy up to the mounting bracket and align the keyholes on the canopy with the screws on the mounting bracket. Turn the canopy until it locks into place and secure it with the screws. Install the canopy cover ring to cover the screws.
8. Install the remote control holder: Fix the remote control holder to a suitable wall using the provided screws and slide the remote into the holder.
9. Pair the remote and receiver: Follow the instructions in the manual to pair the remote and receiver. This step is necessary for controlling the fan and adjusting its speed.
10. Test the fan: Turn on the power and test the operation of the fan, including the speed and light functions.
