To clean the ebmpapst W2S130-AA03-97 AC Axial Compact Fan, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the fan is not in motion. Disconnect the power supply and secure it against being switched back on.
2. Use compressed air to remove any dust or debris from the fan. Be careful not to use too much pressure, as this can damage the fan.
3. Do not use water or any cleaning agents that are aggressive, acidic, or solvent-based. These can damage the fan.
4. If there is severe corrosion on the load-bearing or rotating parts of the fan, switch off the device immediately and replace it. Repair of these parts is not permitted.
5. After cleaning, allow the fan to run at maximum speed for 2 hours to allow any water that may have entered to evaporate.
6. If cleaning does not eliminate vibrations, the fan may need to be rebalanced. Contact ebm-papst for assistance with rebalancing.
It is important to note that the fan should be checked regularly for proper operation and soiling. The frequency of cleaning should be adjusted based on the level of dust exposure.
