To connect your phone to the GENESIS 2023 Electrified G80 Car for phone projection, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the vehicle's shifter is in 'Park' mode.
2. Connect a USB data cable from your phone to the vehicle's USB port. The USB data port is typically located in or near the front in-dash console. Refer to your vehicle's owner's manual for the specific location.
3. On your phone, 'Allow permission' to connect to your vehicle when prompted. Please note that your phone must be unlocked for this step.
4. Once connected, you can enjoy using the applications displayed on your vehicle's multimedia screen.
Please note that for Android Auto users, you may be prompted to view a tutorial. Select your option and proceed accordingly. Additionally, a data cable for iOS devices is required for Apple CarPlay, and OEM data cables are recommended.
