Installation:
1. Determine whether you want to use the hood for ducted top extraction or recirculation. If using ducted top extraction, ensure that there is a ducting outlet available.
2. Adjust the height of the chimney to fit your kitchen space. The height can be adjusted between 600mm and 1035mm.
3. Install the chimney onto the wall using the provided screws and brackets. Make sure it is securely attached.
4. Connect the hood to the ducting outlet or install the carbon filters for recirculation, if applicable.
5. Connect the power supply to the hood.
Cleaning:
1. Ensure that the hood is turned off and unplugged before cleaning.
2. Remove the filters by pushing the release tabs and lifting them out.
3. Wash the filters in warm soapy water or place them in the dishwasher. Ensure they are completely dry before reinstalling.
4. Wipe down the exterior of the hood with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
5. Clean the grease collector regularly by removing it and washing it with warm soapy water.
6. Check the ventilation ducts for any build-up of grease or debris and clean if necessary.
