To clean the Exergen 2000C Temporal Scanner, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the probe lens and cone are clean. If they are not, use a small cloth or swab moistened with alcohol to clean them. Let them dry before using the thermometer.
2. Hold the thermometer upside down to prevent excess moisture from entering the sensor area. While the thermometer is not waterproof, a little moisture will not harm the sensor. However, if it becomes too wet, you will need to wait until it dries before taking a temperature.
3. You can clean the thermometer case with any hospital-approved disinfectant, alcohol, or even bleach solutions. Avoid using gritty or abrasive cleaners, as they can scratch the thermometer.
4. Do not hold the Temporal Scanner under the faucet or submerge it in water.
It is important to keep the Exergen 2000C Temporal Scanner clean to ensure accurate temperature readings.
