To mount the SW-MOTECH GPT.05.440.60000-B Top Case System on your motorcycle, please follow the steps outlined in the instruction manual:
1. Preparation: Read the mounting instructions carefully and ensure that all items from the parts list are included. Park your vehicle safely and turn off the engine. If necessary, let the motor/exhaust cool off. Disconnect the vehicle battery when working on the electrical system. Use appropriate tools and have another person to assist you.
2. Mounting: Clean the surface of the mounting brackets and attach the protection stripes on their underside. Cut openings into the protection stripes where the mounting points are covered. Remove the specified parts from the luggage carrier. Attach the mounting brackets to the vehicle using the provided screws. Choose the front or rear mounting position according to your preferences. Attach the luggage rack to the mounting brackets. Once all parts are evenly positioned, tighten the screws as specified in the parts list.
3. Function Check: After installation, ensure that all parts and connections previously removed are properly replaced. Make sure that no moving parts are obstructed and that the function of the vehicle is not hindered. Check that cables and hoses are not rubbing or pinched. Before riding, perform a comprehensive check of all functions. After the first 50 km and at regular intervals, check the tightening torque of all xxxx connections and the proper fit of the product.
