To clean the SEVERIN KG 2392 Contact Grill, follow these steps:
1. Before cleaning, make sure the appliance is disconnected from the power supply and has cooled down completely.
2. Clean the outside of the grill with a soft damp cloth. Wipe dry with a dry cloth afterwards.
3. To clean the non-stick grill plates, open the unit and put the upper element in a vertical position. Then, push the release button to remove the plate. Repeat the same process for the lower plate.
4. Clean the plates in warm soapy water and dry them thoroughly afterwards.
5. Replace the plates in the unit after cleaning, ensuring that the recesses on the plates engage on the brackets on the unit.
6. The fat collection tray can also be cleaned with hot soapy water.
Note: Do not clean the appliance with water or immerse it in water to avoid the risk of electric shock.
