To install the Whirlpool Electric Single or Double Built-In Oven, follow these steps:
1. Gather the required tools and parts listed in the installation guide.
2. Check local codes and existing electrical supply.
3. Ensure the cabinet opening dimensions are correct and provide the minimum clearance with the oven.
4. Make sure the electrical supply is grounded and meets the requirements specified in the electrical requirements section.
5. Determine the type of electrical connection you will be using and follow the instructions provided for it.
6. Prepare the oven by removing the shipping materials and tape, as well as the oven door(s) if necessary.
7. Position the oven feet according to the cutout height of your cabinet.
8. Make the electrical connection by feeding the flexible conduit through the opening in the cabinet, installing a conduit connector to the junction box, and connecting the wires according to the electrical connection options chart.
9. Install the oven by lifting it partially into the cabinet cutout, pushing it completely into the cabinet, and securing it with screws provided.
10. Install the bottom vent and bottom vent trim if required.
11. Replace the oven racks and door(s).
12. Reconnect the power and check that the oven is functioning properly.
