To install the DIGITUS DN-95343 16 24FE (PoE) plus 2G Combo PoE Switch, follow these steps:
1. Choose the installation method: The switch can be installed on a desktop or in a rack-mountable configuration.
2. Desktop Installation:
a. Attach the provided cushioning rubber feet to the bottom corners of the switch to prevent external vibration.
b. Allow adequate space for ventilation around the switch.
3. Rack-mountable Installation:
a. Install the mounting brackets on the side panels of the switch using the included screws.
b. Secure the brackets with the screws provided with the equipment rack.
c. Mount the switch on a 19-inch equipment rack.
4. Connect the power:
a. Plug the negative connector of the provided power cord into the power socket of the switch.
b. Plug the positive connector into a power outlet.
5. Power on the switch:
a. After connecting the power, the switch will perform a Power-On Self-Test.
b. The PWR LED indicator will light up to indicate that the switch has power.
