To set up your Echo Dot Kids 5th Gen Speaker, follow these steps:
1. Download the Alexa app from your app store.
- Make sure your phone's Bluetooth capability is turned on and have your Wi-Fi password ready.
- Log in with your existing Amazon account username and password or create a new account.
2. Plug in your Echo Dot Kids using the included power adapter.
- A blue light ring will spin around the bottom of the device.
- Wait for about a minute until Alexa tells you to complete the setup in the app.
3. Follow the setup instructions in the Alexa app.
- If you aren't prompted to set up your device after opening the app, tap the More icon to add your device manually.
- The app will guide you through the setup process and help you get more out of your Echo Dot Kids, including setting up calling and messaging, managing music, lists, settings, and news.
