To set up a network connection for the Hama 00054247 Digital Radio, follow these steps:
1. Make sure that your router is switched on and functioning correctly, and that there is a connection to the internet.
2. Activate the WLAN (wireless network) function of your router. Refer to your router's operating instructions for guidance on how to do this.
3. Once the WLAN function is activated, proceed with the following steps:
a. Press the [MENU/SETTINGS] button (7) on the front of the radio to access the Settings menu.
b. Use the [POWER/VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE] button (11) to navigate to the "Settings" menu item.
c. Press the [POWER/VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE] button (11) to confirm the selection.
d. Use the [POWER/VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE] button (11) to navigate to the "Network" menu item.
e. Press the [POWER/VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE] button (11) to confirm the selection.
f. Use the [POWER/VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE] button (11) to navigate to the "WLAN" menu item.
g. Press the [POWER/VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE] button (11) to confirm the selection.
h. The radio will search for available wireless networks. Once the search is complete, a list of available networks will be displayed on the screen.
i. Use the [POWER/VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE] button (11) to select your wireless network from the list.
j. If your network is password-protected, a virtual keyboard will appear on the screen. Use the [POWER/VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE] button (11) to enter your network password.
k. Once you have entered the password, press the [POWER/VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE] button (11) to confirm.
l. The radio will attempt to connect to your wireless network. If the connection is successful, the radio will display a confirmation message.
m. Press the [HOME] button (10) to return to the home screen.
Your Hama 00054247 Digital Radio should now be connected to your wireless network. You can now enjoy internet radio and other online features available on the radio.
