To set up the HAA86C Stand Alone Proximity Access Control, follow these steps:
1. Remove the small frame around the keypad using a knife or another sharp object.
2. Remove the four screws and take out the front panel.
3. Set the hardware to your requirements through the 8 jumpers (JP1 through JP8) according to the wiring diagram provided in the manual.
4. The alarm output is activated for 4 seconds when the device is activated. The two-color LED will flash (red) and you will hear one long and two short beeps. This indicates that the device is ready for use.
The manual provides detailed instructions on the different door-opening modes and how to use them. It also explains how to enter the command mode to perform various settings and operations, such as adding or deleting access cards, programming the alarm output duration, setting the door delay close time, enabling or disabling the beeper signal output, programming the door open duration, modifying the password, and setting the common PIN code.
