To install the Summit FF61W-ADA 24 Inch Built-in Undercounter Refrigerator, follow these steps:
1. Choose a well-ventilated area with temperatures above 60°F (16°C) and below 90°F (32°C) to install the refrigerator. It should be protected from the elements, such as wind, rain, water spray, or drips.
2. Make sure the floor is strong enough to support the fully loaded appliance.
3. Adjust the two leveling legs at the front of the unit to level it.
4. If rear spacers are provided with your specific model, install them onto the condenser tube at the back to ensure sufficient clearance between the appliance and the wall.
5. Locate the unit away from direct sunlight and sources of high heat, such as ovens, radiators, or other heat-producing appliances.
6. The appliance must be installed with all electrical connections in accordance with state and local codes. Use a standard electrical supply (115V AC only, 60 Hz) that is properly grounded.
7. Do not kink or pinch the power supply cord of the appliance.
8. The fuse (or circuit breaker) size should be 15 amperes.
9. Ensure proper ventilation for the appliance by keeping the front of the unit completely unobstructed.
10. The refrigerator must be leveled to work properly. Make any necessary adjustments to level it.
11. Once the installation is complete, plug the unit into a grounded 3-prong outlet.
