To mount the Y1-03-0232G 300A Searchlight, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the mounting area is clean and dry.
2. Use appropriate length 5/16" diameter stainless steel fasteners to mount the searchlight. One set is provided in the mounting kit, along with four nylon shoulder washers.
3. Insert the nylon washers into the base mounting holes of the searchlight to prevent a galvanic reaction.
4. Make sure the mounting base gasket is securely in place before bolting down. Apply silicone grease to the bottom of the gasket for waterproofing.
5. Ensure that the searchlight is able to rotate 360° without hitting any obstructions.
6. Refer to the searchlight Mounting Template for the drilling hole pattern.
Note: Do not mount the searchlight upside down as moisture cannot drain from the inverted light head assembly.
