To install and configure the MCC DAQ software on Windows, follow these steps:
1. Visit the website www.mccdaq.com/swdownload and download the MCC DAQ software.
2. If you are using most USB, Bluetooth, or Ethernet devices, install and run DAQami from the MCC DAQ software. This software allows you to configure the device and acquire data without programming.
3. If you are using PCI/PCIe or other USB devices, install InstaCal and TracerDAQ from the MCC DAQCD software. Run InstaCal to configure the device, then use TracerDAQ to acquire data.
4. If you want to program in C, C++, C# .NET, VB, or VB .NET, install InstaCal and Universal Library (UL) from the MCC DAQ software. Run InstaCal to configure the device (recommended), or use the UL to configure the device programmatically (advanced). Then, use the UL to acquire data programmatically.
5. If you want to program in Python, install InstaCal and Universal Library from the MCC DAQ software. Additionally, install the Universal Library Python API for Windows from PyPI (pypi.org/project/mcculw/). Run InstaCal to configure the device (recommended), or use the UL to configure the device programmatically (advanced). Then, use the UL to acquire data programmatically.
6. If you want to program in LabVIEW, install InstaCal and ULx for NI LabVIEW from the MCC DAQ software. Please note that an existing LabVIEW 2010 or later installation is required. Run InstaCal to configure the device, and then use ULx for NI LabVIEW to acquire data.
