To install the EnerSys PRO Series Battery Handling Equipment, follow these steps:
1. Determine the desired location for the battery rack and ensure it meets all safety and space requirements.
2. Ensure the floor is level and capable of supporting the weight of the battery rack and batteries.
3. Assemble the modular stationary battery rack according to the provided instructions. Make sure to align the left-to-right rails properly.
4. If using bolt-on charger shelves, attach them to the rack at the desired height using the provided hardware.
5. If integrated ventilation is desired, install the ventilation kit according to the provided instructions. This will provide direct and adjustable battery-top extraction during the charging process.
6. If using roller stands for hybrid lift-out/roll-out environments, position them appropriately and secure them to the floor.
7. Optional: If custom sizes or additional options are required, contact EnerSys or your authorized dealer for assistance.
8. Once the installation is complete, ensure that the rack is stable and secure before placing batteries onto it.
