The filters in the STIRLING AP231 Air Purifier should be cleaned or replaced regularly to maintain optimal performance. The filter indicator on the control panel will flash when it is time to clean or replace the filters. The frequency of cleaning or replacement will depend on the air quality in your environment and the usage of the air purifier. It is recommended to clean or replace the filters every 6-12 months.
To clean the filters, follow the instructions in the supplied manual. Gently remove the filters from the appliance and clean them using a vacuum cleaner or rinse them under running water. Allow the filters to dry completely before reinstalling them into the appliance.
If the filters are damaged or worn out, they should be replaced. New filter sets are available for purchase from the after-sales support center. After replacing the filters, don't forget to press and hold the ANION/FILTER button on the control panel for three seconds to reset the filter counter.
