The installation process for the AMC C 5/ C 30/ C 60 Volume Controls is as follows:
1. Connect the volume controllers according to the provided wiring diagrams. You have the option to choose between passive or active mode.
- In passive mode, the volume is attenuated if 24 V is not connected to the 24 V terminal. Once the voltage is supplied, the volume is set to the maximum level.
- In active mode, the volume is set to the maximum level if 24 V is not connected to the 24 V terminal. After the voltage is supplied, the volume starts to attenuate.
2. Install a flush mount box into the wall. It is important to note that the controllers will fit properly only with AMC flush mount wall boxes. There are two types of boxes available: CBh for drywalls and CBs for solid walls. These boxes can be purchased optionally.
3. Mount the volume controller into the box and tighten the screws securely.
4. Turn the rotary switch counterclockwise until it stops at the minimum position. Place the xxxx on the volume controller, ensuring that the xxxx concavity is in the middle with a black dot, as shown in the provided picture.
5. Hold the plastic top panel at a 45˚ angle and mount it on the volume controller. To ensure easy orientation, align the black dot marking on the panel with the AMC letters, as shown in the picture.
6. Turn the plastic top panel counterclockwise until it clicks and locks into place.
7. To remove the plastic top panel, pull it and turn it counterclockwise. This will allow you to take off the cover.
