To connect the EPSON ET-3843 EcoTank printer to your computer, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure the printer is turned on and the ink charging process is complete.
2. Download and install the necessary software for your printer from the Epson website. You can visit http://epson.com/support/et3843 (U.S.) or http://epson.ca/support/et3843 (Canada) to find the latest software package.
3. Once the software is installed, ensure that the printer is not connected to your computer.
4. If you are using a Windows computer and see a "Found New Hardware" screen, click Cancel and disconnect the USB cable.
5. Run the setup program from the software package you downloaded.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process.
7. When prompted to select the connection type, choose the appropriate option based on your setup:
- Wireless connection: The software installer will attempt to set up the wireless connection automatically. If it is unsuccessful, you may need to enter your network name (SSID) and password.
- Direct USB connection: Make sure you have a USB cable (not included) and select this option.
- Wired network connection: Make sure you have an Ethernet cable (not included) and select this option.
8. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection setup.
9. Once the connection is established, you should be able to print from your computer using the EPSON ET-3843 EcoTank printer.
