According to the user manual, here are the cleaning and maintenance instructions for the DEDEMAN 2K4 Valencia bedroom chest of drawers:
1. PANEL and UPHOLSTERED furniture:
- For wood and refined chipboard products, use a dry, soft cloth and agents without abrasive properties for cleaning.
- Fabric upholstered products can be vacuum cleaned. Use water at a temperature of 40°C with neutral chemical agents for cleaning the upholstery fabric.
- Vinyl, faux leather, and leather upholstered products should not be cleaned with dry-cleaning agents, solvents, polishing agents, oils, abrasive agents, and ammonium soap.
2. ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS:
- Do not cover electrical components and provide enough space around heat sources to release heat.
3. GENERAL PRODUCT SAFETY:
- Assembly should be conducted by trained personnel.
- Furniture must be fixed to a wall if foreseen by assembling instructions to avoid tipping.
- Handle glass elements with caution to avoid injuries caused by broken glass.
- Products with built-in mechanisms and flexible design should be handled with caution to avoid injuries.
- Do not expose products to high temperatures, heat sources, and open flame to avoid damages, combustion, and fire.
- Keep smaller elements out of the reach of children to avoid the risk of swallowing and choking.
- Pay additional attention when handling products with sharp edges around children.
4. Care and Maintenance for furniture made from natural wood and panel materials:
- Avoid placing hot objects and candles directly on the furniture.
- Immediately wipe off any spilled liquids.
- Regularly check if screws and fittings are tight.
- The natural emission of resin may produce bright spots on knots, which can be polished with a dry, lint-free cloth.
- For stripped/oiled furniture made of natural wood, occasional after treatment with suitable furniture oil is recommended.
- For untreated/painted furniture made of natural wood, use a moderately damp cloth for cleaning. Avoid corrosive cleaners, solvents, or polish.
- For furniture made of panel materials, use a soft, lint-free cloth or shammy for conditioning. Avoid microfiber cloths, aggressive chemical substances, abrasive cleaning agents, scouring powder, steel wool, scouring pads, vacuum cleaners, and steam cleaners.
