To attach the UPLIFT Desk FRM703 Advanced Comfort Flush Keypad to the desktop, follow these steps:
1. Locate the keypad attachment holes pre-drilled into the UPLIFT desktop. These holes are located on both the left and right sides, allowing you to choose the desired side for keypad attachment.
2. Align the keypad mounting holes with the pre-drilled holes in the desktop.
3. Using the two #10x5/8" wood screws labeled H14 provided with your desk, carefully attach the keypad to the desktop. Be cautious not to overtighten the screws to avoid stripping, especially if using a drill to insert the screws.
If your desktop doesn't have pre-drilled keypad holes, you can refer to the Optional Desktop Drilling Instructions provided in the user guide. These instructions explain how to position the keypad on the desktop, make pencil marks at the center of each keypad mounting hole, and drill pilot holes using a 1/8" drill bit. Remember not to drill deeper than 1/2" to prevent damaging the desktop surface.
