To install the battery cartridge, align the tongue on the battery cartridge with the groove in the housing and slip it into place. Insert it all the way until it locks in place with a little click. Make sure the red indicator is not visible, indicating that the battery cartridge is fully installed. To remove the battery cartridge, slide the button on the front of the cartridge while sliding it out of the tool. Always make sure the tool is switched off before installing or removing the battery cartridge.
