To install the American Lighting Association N7991-572-L Grande Illusion LED Semi-Flush Mount, follow these steps:

1. Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker before starting the installation.
2. Remove the old fixture, including the mounting hardware.
3. Carefully unpack the new fixture and ensure that all parts are included.
4. Attach the mounting plate (B) to the junction box (A) using the provided mounting screws (E) (#8-32*1/2”L). Make sure the side of the mounting plate marked "GND" faces out.
5. Connect the electrical wires according to the wiring diagram shown in Figure 2. Ensure that all wire connectors are securely fastened. If your junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture's ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture's ground wire directly to the mounting plate (B) using the provided ground xxxx (F).
6. Neatly tuck the wire connections inside the junction box (A).
7. Place the fixture onto the mounting plate (B) and secure it with the provided screws (D).
8. If necessary, adjust the fixture's level by pushing the cable strainer (G) and slightly pushing in the cables.
9. Once the installation is complete, restore power to the junction box and test the fixture.

Important notes:
- Do not apply pressure to the LEDs when handling the fixture. Hold it by the base or fixture body only.
- The fixture is dimmable with ELV and/or LED compatible wall dimmer switch.
- It is recommended to have a qualified electrician install the fixture to ensure proper wiring and installation.
