To connect the Samsung HW-Q600B Soundbar to your TV, you can use the HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) feature or the optical digital audio input.
1. HDMI ARC Connection:
a. Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC port on the soundbar.
b. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC port on your TV.
c. Make sure that the HDMI ARC function is enabled on your TV's settings.
d. Turn on the soundbar and set it to the HDMI source using the remote control.
2. Optical Digital Audio Connection:
a. Connect one end of an optical cable to the optical digital audio input on the soundbar.
b. Connect the other end of the optical cable to the optical digital audio output on your TV.
c. Set the TV's audio output to "Optical" or "Digital Audio Out" in the settings.
d. Turn on the soundbar and set it to the optical source using the remote control.
Note: The HDMI ARC connection is recommended as it allows for more advanced features like volume control using the TV remote and automatic power on/off synchronization.
