To charge the vacuum, follow these steps:
1. Plug the Li-Ion Charger into a wall outlet.
2. Attach the charger to the charging port on the handheld vacuum while it is still attached to the wand.
3. The battery is removable, so if you prefer to charge it separately, press and hold the Battery Release Button and slide out the battery. Plug the charger into the charging port on the battery. To reinstall the battery, slide it back into the slot in the back of the handheld vacuum.
Please note that the Lithium ION Power Pack battery does not come fully charged. Prior to first use, charge the battery completely. During the first use, run the battery down until it is completely out of power to condition it. The LED battery power and charging indicators will provide information on the battery's charging status.
