The Shinko RD71JE5 Infrared Temperature Sensor can be mounted using three different methods: direct mounting, mounting with a mounting bracket (TFB), or mounting with an air purge collar (ASAP).
For direct mounting, the sensing head is threaded (M12 x 1) and can be directly mounted to the desired location.
If you choose to use a mounting bracket (TFB), follow these steps:
1. Fix the mounting bracket at the desired site using a xxxx (M3 size - not included).
2. Remove the hexagonal nut (SW 14) from the sensing head and pass the sensing head through the mounting bracket. Secure it using the hexagonal nut.
If you choose to use an air purge collar (ASAP), follow these steps:
1. Fix the mounting bracket (TFB) at the desired site using a xxxx (M3 size - not included).
2. Pass the air purge collar through the mounting bracket and secure it using the hexagonal nut.
3. Attach the tube and air pump to the air purge collar. Recommended tube size: Inside diameter: 4 mm; Outside diameter: 6 mm. Recommended air pump: The air pump should fit the tube size and deliver a discharge air flow rate corresponding to the air purge collar (2 to 10 liters/minute).
