To install the Joie Spin 360 GT Reboard Child Car Seat in your vehicle, please follow these steps:
1. Choose the Installation Mode: The Joie Spin 360 GT can be installed using the ISOFIX connectors or the vehicle seat belt. Please refer to the instruction manual for specific instructions on each installation method.
2. Installing the Base: Place the base on the vehicle seat and pull the load leg down to the floor. Insert the ISOFIX guides to assist with installation. Press the ISOFIX adjuster button to extend the ISOFIX connectors. Make sure both ISOFIX connectors are securely attached to their anchor points and the indicators on both connectors are completely green. If needed, adjust the ISOFIX connectors for a tighter install or increased cabin space. Ensure that the load leg is installed correctly by checking the load leg indicator. The load leg should be in full contact with the vehicle floor pan. Finally, check the base's secure installation by pulling on both ISOFIX connectors.
3. Recline Adjustment: Squeeze the recline adjustment button to adjust the child restraint to the proper position. There are multiple recline positions for both rear-facing and forward-facing modes. After reclining, recheck the load leg position.
4. Side Impact Protection: The Joie Spin 360 GT comes with removable side impact protection. Install the side impact protection on the door side of the vehicle for the best protection. Press the release button to remove the side impact protection when not needed.
5. Height Adjustment for Head Support and Shoulder Harnesses: Adjust the head support and check if the shoulder harnesses are at the correct height according to the child's shoulders. Lift up the head support adjustment lever and move the head support to one of the six positions.
6. Rear-Facing Mode Installation: Press the ISOFIX adjuster button and pull the base back from the vehicle seat. Press the rotating button to rotate the seat for easier side loading/unloading of the child. If needed, adjust the ISOFIX connectors for a tighter install or increased cabin space. Ensure that both ISOFIX connectors and the load leg are securely installed. Secure the child in the seat by adjusting the shoulder harnesses and engaging the buckle.
7. Forward-Facing Mode Installation: Follow the same steps as the rear-facing mode, but rotate the seat forward instead of backward. Do not use the infant insert in the forward-facing mode.
Please refer to the complete instruction manual for detailed installation instructions, including illustrations and additional safety precautions.
