To clean the Honeywell UBERHEAT 5/ UBERHEAT PLUS Heater, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the heater and unplug it from the electrical outlet. Allow it to cool completely.
2. Use a dry cloth to clean the external surfaces of the heater. Do not use water, waxes, polishes, or any chemical solutions.
3. Pay special attention to the air intakes and exhaust openings. Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove any dust or debris.
4. If there are any stubborn stains or dirt, you can dampen the cloth slightly with water and gently wipe the affected areas. Make sure the cloth is not dripping wet.
5. Once you have finished cleaning, plug the heater back in and ensure it is working properly before using it again.
It is recommended to clean the heater at least once a month and before storing it for the off-season. Proper cleaning helps maintain the performance and longevity of the heater.
