To adjust the chain tension on the SUN JOE 24V-HCS-LTE-P1 Cordless Pruning Saw, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the pruning saw is turned off and the battery is removed.
2. Loosen the sprocket/chain end cover by turning the end cover xxxx counterclockwise.
3. Use the hex key wrench provided to turn the chain adjusting xxxx clockwise to tighten the chain or counterclockwise to loosen it.
4. Check the tension of the chain by pulling it away from the guide bar. The chain should be snug against the guide bar but still able to be turned by hand without binding.
5. Once the chain is properly tensioned, tighten the end cover xxxx .
6. Run the chain along the guide bar with a screwdriver to ensure it moves smoothly.
