To adjust the temperature on the CONAIR CD1009 Tourmaline Ceramic Curling Iron, follow these steps:
1. Plug the iron cord into a household outlet (120V).
2. Press and hold the ON/OFF button for approximately 1 second to turn the appliance on.
3. The unit will heat up quickly. Press the HIGH or LOW button to select your desired temperature.
4. Once the temperature has stopped blinking on the LED, the unit is ready to use.
5. To turn off the appliance, press and hold the power ON/OFF button again until the light goes off.
Note: The iron's barrel will get very hot within a few seconds and should not be placed in contact with the skin after the iron has been turned on. The iron has 5 ultra-high heat temperature settings and Instant Heat Technology for styling versatility. Adjust the temperature according to your hair type and styling needs.
