The Enersys PowerSafe V-FT Front Terminal Telecom Batteries should be stored in a clean, cool, and dry area. It is important to note that during storage, the batteries may lose capacity through self-discharge, and high temperatures can increase the rate of self-discharge and reduce the storage life. The manual provides a chart showing the relationship between open-circuit voltage (OCV) and storage time at various temperatures. It is recommended to give the batteries a refresh charge when the OCV approaches the equivalent of 2.10 Volts per cell or when the maximum storage time is reached, whichever occurs first. The manual also provides instructions on how to perform a refresh charge.
