To power up the HILTI PS Series X-Scan Concrete Scanner, you have two options. You can either install 4 AAA alkaline batteries (PS 1000/2000) or a 6V4AH lead acid battery (PS 3000) into the battery compartment of the indicator, or you can plug the AC adapter into the indicator. Once the power source is connected, you can turn the indicator on or off using the [ON/OFF/ZERO] key.
