To install the KODLiN KUS11600 Rear LED Wiring Harness for Sportster S, follow these steps:

1. Start by disconnecting the taillight harness at the main harness connector. Refer to picture #1 in the manual for visual guidance.

2. Connect both harness connectors, one to the main harness and the other to the taillight harness. Refer to picture #2 in the manual for visual guidance.

3. Route the harness alongside the frame rail to the rear tail section. See picture #3 for reference.

4. The harness will provide left and right JST connectors to connect the rear LEDs.

5. The harness will also provide a 12 VDC source for the license plate frame at the taillight connector on the swingarm. Pin 3 (black wire) is ground, and pin 5 (blue wire) is a 12 VDC source from the running light circuit. Refer to picture #4 in the manual for visual guidance.

6. Connect the wires according to the following color and function guide:
   - Blue wire (Kodlin Harness) connects to pin 1 (Conn Pos) for the running function and should be connected to the yellow wire (LED).
   - Brown wire (violet for left turn) (Kodlin Harness) connects to pin 2 (Conn Pos) for the right turn function and should be connected to the blue wire (LED).
   - Red wire (Kodlin Harness) connects to pin 3 (Conn Pos) for the stop function and should be connected to the red wire (LED).
   - Black wire (Kodlin Harness) connects to pin 4 (Conn Pos) for the ground function and should be connected to the black wire (LED).
