To add detergent to your Amana ADB1400AMW dishwasher, follow these steps:
1. Open the dishwasher door.
2. Locate the main detergent compartment, which is usually located on the inside of the dishwasher door.
3. Place the premeasured detergent tablets or packs into the main compartment. Make sure to close the lid securely.
4. If you are using a different type of dishwasher detergent, such as powder, liquid, or gel, follow the instructions on the package for the recommended amount and placement.
5. Close the dishwasher door.
Please note that using high-quality premeasured tablets and packs is recommended for improved performance. These have been proven to be better than other detergent types at reducing filming on dishes.
