To install the DRIJA Vetro 90 Professional Range Hood, follow these steps:
1. Determine the minimum safety distance between the cooking surface and the extractor, which is 30 inches (75cm). Some models may require a higher installation height, so refer to the working dimensions and installation section in the manual.
2. Check that the supply voltage matches the one indicated on the data plate inside the extractor.
3. For Class I appliances, ensure that the mains supply is properly grounded.
4. Do not connect the extractor to smoke ducts carrying combustion smoke, such as from boilers or chimneys.
5. If the extractor is used in combination with non-electric appliances (e.g., gas appliances), make sure there is sufficient ventilation in the enclosure to prevent the return of exhaust gas flow. The kitchen should have an opening communicating directly with the outside to ensure fresh air. The negative pressure in the enclosure should not exceed 0.04 mbar to prevent smoke from being breathed into the enclosure by the extractor.
6. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or service department to avoid any risk.
Please note that these are general installation instructions. For detailed instructions specific to your model, refer to the user manual provided by the manufacturer.
