To connect the iSwitch SDV-TR SDVOE Transceiver with Copper-Fiber Combo Box to your devices, follow these steps:
1. Connect your HDMI source device (such as a DVD player or set-top box) to the HDMI IN port on the transceiver using an HDMI cable.
2. If you want to connect a USB device, use the USB HOST port in ENC mode (when the transceiver is set as an encoder) or the USB DEVICES port in DEC mode (when the transceiver is set as a decoder).
3. Connect your display or monitor to the HDMI OUT port on the transceiver using an HDMI cable.
4. If you want to extend the video signal over a network, connect the 10G BASE-T port or the SFP+ port on the transceiver to a 10G network switch using the appropriate cables.
5. If you need to control the transceiver using RS-232 signals, connect a PC or control system to the RS-232 port on the transceiver using a 4-pin phoenix connector cable.
6. If you want to use IR control, connect an IR signal source to the IR IN port on the transceiver and connect an IR receiver or blaster to the IR OUT port.
7. Finally, connect the transceiver to a power source using the included DC 12V power adapter.
