The frequency of filter replacement depends on the specific model of your ERV and the type of filter being used. For the Intelli-Balance 100, it is recommended to vacuum the Return Air (black resin) filter every 2-3 months or as needed. The Outside Air (white paper) filter should be inspected every 90 days and replaced every six months to maintain peak performance. For the Intelli-Balance 200, the Outside Air (white paper) filter should be inspected or changed every 90 days, and the washable Return Air (black resin) filter should be inspected and cleaned every 90 days. It is important to use the recommended Panasonic replacement filters for optimal performance.
