To program aftermarket remotes for the COMPUSTAR RS1B-DC3 Remote Starter Kit, follow these steps:
1. Make sure to program aftermarket remotes before usage. A maximum of four aftermarket remotes can be programmed per system.
2. Within 7 seconds, cycle the ignition ON and OFF five times rapidly (5x OFF/ON).
3. The parking light will flash once.
4. Within 5 seconds from the previous step, press the LOCK button of the aftermarket remote once.
5. The parking light will flash once.
6. To program additional remotes, repeat steps 4 to 6 using each additional remote.
7. Wait for the parking light to flash twice.
8. Turn the ignition to the OFF position.
The aftermarket remote programming procedure is now completed.
Please note that failure to follow the programming procedure may result in a DTC or a CHECK ENGINE error message.
