To add the Doorsafe DS3113 Wifi Door/Window Magnetic Contact Sensor to the app, please follow these steps:
1. Download the Smart Life app from the Google Play Store (for Android) or the App Store (for iOS) and create an account.
2. Once the app is ready to use, open the sensor by pressing the button (4) on the device.
3. Remove the foil from the battery or insert a new battery into the sensor. The LED on the sensor will briefly light up red.
4. Press the Reset button (5) on the sensor for 5 seconds until the LED flashes green quickly.
5. Press the Reset button (5) on the sensor one more time for 5 seconds until the LED slowly flashes green.
6. Go to the home screen of the Smart Life app.
7. Press the "+" button to add a device.
8. In the app, select "SENSORS" and then choose "Contactsensor (WIFI)".
9. Make sure your smartphone is connected to your 2.4GHz WiFi network.
10. Enter your 2.4GHz WiFi password in the app.
11. Select "Confirm indicator is blinking rapidly" and then choose "Blink slowly".
12. Tap on "Go to Connect".
13. The sensor will start transmitting a WiFi network, indicated by the LED flashing slowly. Connect your smartphone to this network (the network name starts with "Smartlife-XXXX").
14. Once your smartphone is connected to the SmartLife-XXXX WiFi network, go back to the Smart Life app.
15. Wait for the app to complete the addition process, which may take up to 2 minutes.
16. Once the addition to the app is successful, you can give the sensor a name.
