To use the self-cleaning function on the Fisher & Paykel WOSV230_N Oven, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the oven is cool and empty before starting the self-cleaning process.
2. Open the oven door and remove any large food debris or spills from the oven cavity.
3. Wipe down the inside of the oven door with a damp cloth to remove any residue.
4. Close the oven door and ensure it is securely latched.
5. Press the "Self Clean" button on the oven control panel.
6. Use the "+" or "-" buttons to adjust the cleaning duration. The recommended cleaning duration is typically displayed in the user manual.
7. Press the "Start" button to begin the self-cleaning cycle.
8. During the self-cleaning process, the oven will heat up to a very high temperature to burn off food residue. The oven door will automatically lock and remain locked until the cleaning cycle is complete.
9. Once the self-cleaning cycle is finished, the oven will cool down and the door will unlock. It is normal for the oven to emit smoke and for there to be a light ash residue inside the oven.
10. After the oven has cooled down, use a damp cloth to wipe away any remaining ash residue from the oven cavity.
Please refer to the user guide provided with the oven for more detailed instructions and safety precautions when using the self-cleaning function.
