To set up the Wemo Stage Scene Controller, you will need an iPhone or iPad and a HomePod, Apple TV, or iPad set up as a home hub. Ensure that your device has the latest software and operating system updates. Follow these steps:
1. Install the battery into the controller with the positive side facing up.
2. Press any button on the controller to enter setup mode (the light will blink yellow and green).
3. Launch the Apple Home app on your iPhone or iPad.
4. Hold the controller within an inch of the top edge or the back center of your phone and follow the prompts that appear.
If you don't see the prompts, you can manually add the Wemo Stage as an accessory in the Home app by entering the 8-digit HomeKit code found on the back of the user guide.
